Volunteer

Many people work voluntarily at Diakonie Fürstenfeldbruck. We appreciate them very much. However, there is still more to do! That is why we would be very pleased if you would volunteer for us as well.

Whatever you are able to do well, we certainly have a suitable task for you. We need people who can organize well, people who like to listen, and those who can explain well. People who like to craft or sing with others or who like to decorate. And we need people who are manually skilled and ready to tackle things such as preparations for our summer festival or the furnishing of our new second-hand store.

    So far only in exceptional cases. We know, however, how important it is to financially support voluntary commitment. That is why we are working to expand our expenses compensation program. Please contact us to find out more about that.

     

    We help interested people find the appropriate volunteer job and are always available to provide advice. Wherever possible, we provide appropriate training. We also organize meetings of our volunteers and promote networking among each other.

     

    We are also looking forward to a short-term commitment, for example, to help prepare a party or set up our new second-hand stores. However, there are also many voluntary tasks for which a long-term commitment is more appropriate, such as our senior citizen Visitor Service Armchair.

     

    This is not a problem. Please inform your competent representative as soon as possible. No need to worry, we will find someone who will take care of your task in the meantime.

     

    There are no age restrictions. Young people are as welcome as retirees and all age groups in between.
